Why Angels

You may find yourself asking why you should make a connection to your divine angel rather than the Almighty himself, which is a very good question. The answer to that is this: in the Bible God says, "You should attach yourself to God" and our sages asked "How can you attach yourself to God?" and the answer is: “Through the holy men of God and his angels, we are able to attach ourselves to God.” Okay, so we understand that it is in fact okay, but how exactly do we go about it?

Let us look at an example. If you need water to drink, cook, or bathe in, you are not going directly to the water company to get the water and carry it back home, but rather you will go there to set up an account that would in turn allow you to have water in your home through a tube or pipe. The same thing goes for anything else like getting electricity, television cable, and phone lines. You will not go to an electric company to have electricity, but by opening an account they will transfer electricity for your house by wire and cable and you will be able to have light and power in your home or at work and so on with everything else as mentioned above.

So, in order for your prayer to reach the Almighty and in order for you to receive something from him, you need an intermediate or “middle man” who works as an agent between you and God, similar to the pipe that brings your water to your house. A connection who would deliver your message and deliver God’s message back to you, think of it like the Almighty’s holy postal service. Now, we all know that God doesn’t really need any kind of assistance; this is simply how he created it to be. Just like there is a government, a leader, or a king on earth, so there is also a similar structure in the heavens and beyond what God rules over. Let’s say, for example, if you need to talk to a president you will not be allowed to do so in person unless you look for an intermediary who will convey your message for you. If you need to receive something from the president, he will not personally come to give it to you, even though he is able to do so.

There is proof of this in the Bible. You will recall God sending three angels to deliver a message to Abraham and Sarah. One of the angels was to tell about the birth of a baby boy the following year to come, one was sent to destroy the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the last one was to save Lot and his family from destruction even though God could do all these things himself, he sent angels to do this work, and again that is how he's created the world. He's created a special system that works with angels and spirits. For every star, there is an angel, as there is with every blade of grass, with every human, and with every animal alike.

SO WHY ANGELS MADE OUT OF STONES?

I think that the real question is: “Why should you use an angel made out of stone in order to pray and connect to the Almighty?” A good question that can be answered by recalling a verse in the Bible where God instructed Moses to make a box out of gold and to place the Ten Commandments inside of it. He then instructed him to make two baby angels out of gold (cherubim) to place on the top of this box, with each angel facing one another-one a male and the other a female. He then told him, "I will speak to you from the top of this box and between these two angels," which is the reason why we have included two different sized angel stones for use in corresponding to these two angels. Furthermore, there are few additional chapters in the Bible where God speaks about gemstones, materials, and engraving in building his temple and sanctuary, which allows us to see that all these things have a special energy infused in them and we are able to connect to him through these objects because everything in this world has been created for a purpose.
